Winn Solicitors is continuing its successful year with the Newcastle based firm celebrating its first entries to the prestigious Legal 500 listing, widely recognised as the leading guide to law firms in the country.

Head of litigation, Ghazala Bashey, has received recommended lawyer status. Ghazala, from Newcastle, was instrumental in the launch of Winn Solicitors and has played a significant role in the growth of the firm which now operates as part of the Winn group, following a successful investment by JZ International and Souter investments last year. She also has a strategic focus upon staff development with considerable involvement in training and ongoing mentoring of the team at Winns.

The firm, which employs almost 300 people, has also been recognised by Legal 500 for its work in personal injury.
