Winns Promotes Colette Adair to HR Manager

Winn Solicitors is delighted to announce that Colette Adair has been promoted to become manager of the HR team. Formerly HR Officer, Colette has been with the firm for almost five years, and has been instrumental in recruitment, employee development, and receiving recognition for the firm through awards and accreditations.

In her new role, Colette, from Jesmond, will oversee HR practices across Winn Group, build on employee engagement strategies and work with the marketing team to promote the business, attract new recruits and retain existing staff.

Colette has over ten years experience in HR, having joined Winns from an HR and volume recruitment role within the NHS. Prior to this, she completed a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management at Northumbria University and is CIPD qualified.

Colette said;

“Winn Solicitors is a company with a strong HR focus – we believe in investing in staff and watching them progress within the company. I am delighted to move into this senior role within the team at such an important time for the firm. Despite changes to the personal injury market, we continue to grow and develop.

“As an Investors in People – Gold Standard employer we constantly strive to ensure that our employees are rewarded for their hard work, and engaged in their roles within the company. As HR Manager, I look forward to working on new initiatives to further benefit staff across the group.”

HR Director Michael Warmington added;

“Colette has made an outstanding contribution to the business over the last five years. This promotion is a testament to her hard work and success as HR Officer.”

Managing Director Jeff Winn said;

“Since joining the firm in 2011, Colette has been a real asset to the HR team, and the firm as a whole. Winns has grown rapidly during this time, and she has provided outstanding HR support across the group. I am pleased to see her take on this more senior role, in which she can further develop the HR team, and drive recruitment and staff engagement opportunities across the group as a whole."
