Congratulations to Tamsin Waugh, from Gateshead, who has recently been promoted to Deputy Manager of the Trials Team.

Tamsin is a Chartered Legal Executive, having completed her CILEX qualification in 1997 by distance learning. She joined Winn Solicitors five years ago after returning from Canada.

Originally joining the firm in a fee earning role, Tamsin progressed on to become the Head of the Employer Liability Team, before recently becoming Deputy Manager of the Trials Team.

In her new role, Tamsin is responsible for the Trials Team limitation register, the MIB, agreements with counsel and the court users committee for Winns. She is also responsible for assisting with training and staff management, and supervising five fee earners.

Tamsin said;

“Five years ago, I returned to the workplace after having my daughter and living in Canada. Winn Solicitors gave me the opportunity to show what I could do. I have progressed into management which is a challenge but I have been supported the whole way. At Winns there are great opportunities for hard-working people.”
