Winns Retains Top Law Society Accolade

Winn Solicitors has successfully secured the national Law Society’s legal practice quality mark, Lexcel, for another year. After initially being awarded the accolade in 2011, the firm has maintained the award ever since.

Lexcel is an optional, recognised accreditation scheme for law firms and in-house legal departments, which gives assurance that a practice meets high client care and business management standards.

To retain the Lexcel accreditation, Winns was required to complete the annual application and assessment process, which includes an onsite visit from a Lexcel Assessor.

HR Manager Colette Adair said;

“We are delighted to have secured the prestigious Lexcel accreditation for another year. Without the hard work and dedication of our staff team, this accreditation would not have been possible. This mark of quality is a fantastic symbol for our staff, as it highlights that they work for an efficient organisation with high practice management standards.

“The feedback we have received from Lexcel since we first secured this legal practice quality mark has been fantastic.”

Jonathan Smithers, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, said;

“Gaining and maintaining Lexcel is a considerable feat. There are many facets of being a Lexcel accredited law firm, including excellence in client care. A real commitment to customer service in today’s evermore competitive legal service market is vital.”

“By undergoing the rigorous Lexcel application and assessment process, practices can show the positive steps which they are taking to help clients in the increasingly diverse and complicated legal services market.”
