We are looking for a highly motivated and confident individual to join our Advocacy Team as a Junior In-House Advocate where you will provide advocacy services for departments within Winn Solicitors, ensuring the best possible outcome for the clint and the business is achieved on every case.

Responsibilities
- To advocate hearings for Winn Solicitors Ltd as requested.
- To advocate hearings for any other parties as requested.
- To ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the client by preparing cases, carrying out research and developing appropriate submissions.
- To maximise costs recovery in accordance with relevant costs regimes.
What We Offer
Working Hours
This role is full-time, based on 37.5 hours per week. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
We are also fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle.
About You
To succeed in this role, we're looking for someone who brings a blend of must-have skills and experiences, along with those extra special qualities that can really make a difference to our team and business.
Skills and Experience
- Advocacy experience desirable but not necessary.
- BPTC / LPC desirable but not necessary.
Litigation Experience or experience of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
- Credit Hire experience desirable but not necessary (training will be provided).
- Experience of working towards deadlines, departmental objectives, and SLAs.
- Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives.
- Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment.
- Cooperative and flexible and approach.
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
- IT literate.
- Commitment to own personal development.
