Winn Solicitors is delighted to have two of its teams shortlisted for a prestigious award at the Northern Law Awards.

Both the Part 7 Team and the Litigation Team are finalists in the Team of the Year – Personal Injury category. Other shortlisted firms include teams from Beecham Peacock LLP and Irwin Mitchell LLP.

The Part 7 Team is nominated for the award due to its high performance as a specialist team. Within its sub-teams, it deals with admitted and disputed road traffic accident claims, complex claims and serious injury cases, together with employer liability/ public liability claims.

The Litigation Team has been shortlisted due to its work at the forefront of legal developments in the personal injury and civil litigation sector, including victories in Court of Appeal cases such as Phillips vs Willis, Broadhurst vs Tan and Smith vs Taylor, to name but a few.

The results will be announced at a ceremony at the Hilton in Gateshead on Thursday 1st June 2017, which will be attended by representatives from each team.

Winn Solicitors has been shortlisted at the Northern Law Awards several times, and the Costs Team previously won the Legal Practice Management Award in 2015.
