Winn Group has been awarded the Investors in People Silver award after our most recent assessment.
The accreditation focused on the company’s ability to foster a co-operative, empowering office environment that promotes staff development, engagement, and a desire to enact the organisation’s values and behaviours.
From top down, everyone’s opinion mattered, and continues to matter, and this was taken into account by the assessors as they collated all opinions and delivered a comprehensive overview of our workforce and their feelings on the workplace.
With four gradings in each – developed, established, advanced, and high performing – Winn Group achieved advanced in 62% of the criteria, and established in 29%.
The highest scoring section had 88.5% of people feeling their role enabled them to work well with others.
A total of nearly 82% felt their line manager motivated them to achieve their best. Over 80% of people felt they were trusted to make decisions in their role.
These positive results are a direct result of the hard work, commitment, and dedication that our employees demonstrate daily as the company continues to evolve and grow.
Colette Gardner, Winn Group Head of HR, said: “This is our first year that the group as a whole has been recognised as an Investors in People (having previously been held by Winn Solicitors) so to achieve a silver award is fantastic.
“We have some really positive feedback and will work on recommendations so that we can keep making changes, keep improving, and keep moving forward.”
