Introducing our post team. A team of nine, made up of seven apprentices and two supervisors, they provide essential administrative support across the business.

On a day-to-day basis, the team handle all incoming and outgoing mail within the group, and provide other key administrative functions throughout the office.

On joining the team, the admin assistants undertake NVQ level three apprenticeships in business administration. This provides them with an excellent opportunity to ‘earn while they learn’ and also gives them the skills to excel in their role, before progressing further within the company.

Supervisors Peter Bell and Sally Edgar have mentored around eighty different admin staff over six years, with around 80 percent progressing into other roles across the group.

Peter has also recently completed a level three team leader and supervisor apprenticeship, six months ahead of schedule.

We asked Peter what he enjoys most about his role as a post team supervisor. He said;

“The best part of my job is seeing people progress further in the business and knowing that I’ve helped them onto that career path. I’m very proud of all the people who have been in my team, past and present.”
