A perfect example of a career created at Winn Group, Thomas Douglas recently celebrated passing the 15-year milestone with us.

Having started in 2008 in our First Response Team, the now Assistant Manager has gone from Claims Handler to Trainer to Team Leader before making his most recent jump to his current role.

A career that has seen his excellence and diligence repeatedly rewarded, he is proud of the department’s achievements during an unprecedented time of growth and evolution.

As for what has kept him at the company for a decade and a half, Thomas was keen to point to those around him.

“It has always been a busy team to be in and that hasn’t changed since day one – no day is the same which is what I enjoy most about the job, and the staff of course,” he said.

“I have many close friendships here from over the years. Many have progressed into different roles while remaining with the company, which speaks volumes of the support the company provides you.

“They have always given me the tools I need to help in my progression. FRT is very much my second home; I am proud to be part of such a brilliant team.

“I’ve been quite lucky to work with some amazing people during my time here. Chris Jones and Paul Hewitson have always supported me during my development.

“FRT is very much a passionate, energetic team and is a great place to work.”
