Winn Solicitors has triumphed at the national Modern Law Awards having been named winner of the prestigious Deal of the Year and receiving a highly commended accolade in the Law Firm of the Year category.

Winns was the only North East winner at the awards which recognised talent and success in entrepreneurship, market development, business management and best practice in the modern legal services arena. The cross-industry panel of judges selected Winns as the standout entry in the highly contested category, for the deal which saw substantial investment by two private equity houses allowing the company to continue to expand the one-stop-shop service for accident management nationally.

We received more nominations than any other firm at the awards and were also named as a finalist in two other categories – ABS of the Year (over 100 employees) and head of litigation, Ghazala Bashey was amongst the contenders for Lawyer of the Year.
