Winn Group is delighted to announce its chosen charity for the new financial year is the Bradley Lowery Foundation.

The North East based cause will receive our backing and be the focal point of charitable donations throughout the next 12 months.

Helping support and provide for the families of seriously ill children in terms of essential funding for treatment and life-enhancing equipment, the Bradley Lowery Foundation was set up as part of fundraising for young Bradley, who was suffering and tragically died from Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma.

As our charity for the new financial year, we will be fundraising for them at various points throughout the year, starting with the recent, hugely successful, Winn Group quiz night that was attended by 120 staff.

A total of £1,213 was raised from the event, a great way to get the ball rolling on our efforts to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.

Lynn Murphy, Bradley Lowery Foundation Chief Operations Officer, said: “Everyone here at The Bradley Lowery Foundation would like to thank everyone at Winn Group for choosing us as their charity of the year.

“Coming out of Covid, like most charities, we have found ourselves in a difficult position in terms of donations, so being chosen by Winn Group means the world to us.

“We are extremely overwhelmed with the support Winn Group and all of their employees have already given to BLF, from being the first to take two of our sponsorship packages for the celebrity football match, to now choosing us to support for the full year too.

“Thank you so much for the continued support.”
